Letter from the Rector: SAYING FAREWELL TO YUHADHI

Parish Administrator Yuhadhi Sundaramoorthy (right) with his family (from left) Gabriel, Gabby, and Veena.

Dear siblings in Christ,

I write to you today with news that Yuhadhi Sundaramoorthy, parish administrator, will be leaving Church of Our Saviour as of July 1, 2022.

This is a great move for Yuhadhi, as he has been recruited to be the controller for a secular nonprofit organization. The timing of this new opportunity will assist Gabriella and him as they prepare to send their children to college.

As you all know, Yuhadhi has been with Church of Our Saviour for more than 30 years, beginning as a computer teacher at the Our Saviour Center. His departure will leave a gap in our organization as well as a hole in our hearts. However, your wardens and I are fortunate enough to be finalizing a replacement for Yuhadhi’s position. We expect to introduce this new staff member soon.

I ask your prayers and gratitude for Yuhadhi’s incredible ministry — and invite you to join us on Saturday, June 25, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, for tacos and music in Cleaver Hall.

I also invite you to contribute to a generous purse for Yuhadhi to honor his many years of service here. Your contributions to this gift may be in the form of a check made out to COS with the name Yuhadhi in the memo line.

We will celebrate and thank Yuhadhi, as well as at worship at the 10 am service on Sunday, June 26, where we will present a purse to Yuhadhi and his family.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Faithfully,

Jeff+
