Altar Guild Update: FLOWER TRAINING DAY!!!

The Altar Guild (AG) met on September 25, 2021 in Cleaver Hall for a workshop on floral arranging. The demonstration was presented by long-time member of Church of Our Saviour, Georgie Erskine.
The demonstration was given to AG members since they are now preparing floral arrangements for the church using flowers from our own Sacred Garden, purchased flowers, and donations. The demonstration was extremely informative and hands-on. AG members now have insight into floral arranging and first-hand information on best places to purchase supplies and flowers.
The workshop was enjoyed by guild members and we give special thanks to Georgie for an outstanding and informative workshop.
This update was both warm and informative, capturing the spirit of service and learning behind the Altar Guild’s work. The details about the training day made the experience feel accessible and meaningful.
