On Saturday, May 13th, Jubilee Homes is throwing its inaugural fundraiser for the Bill Doulos Legacy Fund, and everyone is invited! The festivities will begin at 6:00 pm in Cleaver Hall. This celebratory dinner will commemorate Bill’s life’s work and legacy, as well as the release of his autobiography, Journey to the Fourth Dimension. Music and a “Bill Doulos story” slideshow will accompany dinner prepared by former residents of Jubilee Homes. We’ll also hear a testimonial from a former resident of the Washington House on what Jubilee Homes has meant to her. Finally, the Rev. Denis O’Pray, former COS rector, will reflect back on the early years of Jubilee Homes at Church of Our Saviour and his decades-long friendship with Bill.
Tickets are available for $75* per person, which includes dinner AND a copy of Bill’s book! More importantly, a portion of all ticket sales will fund the newly formed Bill Doulos Legacy Fund. The Bill Doulos Legacy Fund was established to maintain, beautify and expand the sober living houses that make up Jubilee Homes, impacting the lives of current and future residents for years to come. Proceeds from the evening’s event will be used to further Bill’s legacy.
