A Letter of Gratitude from the “VR’s”: VAZQUEZ-REYES FAMILY SAY THANK YOU TO PARISH

Dear Church of Our Saviour family,

Taylor, Harper, little Olivia, and I wanted to take a moment and say thank you!

Olivia Grace Vazquez-Reyes was born at 8:30 pm on Saturday June 4, 2022. Immediately she “graced” the world with her strong grip (hanging on to the nurses’ fingers for dear life) and her beautiful little voice.

Weighing in at 7 lbs, 14 oz, she is the littlest baby we have welcomed into the family; however, she has more than made up for this in the weeks that have followed!

Harper is adjusting well and is the BEST helper with her little “sissy.” Oddly, Harper loves changing the poopy diapers (with help, of course), which Taylor and I are more than happy to oblige.

Being parents to a newborn is a daunting thing; however, thankfully most of the things we learned the first time with Harper have more or less come back. But we have never been more happy to see some coffee in the morning … and the midafternoon, while being on the Newborn Sleep schedule.

But yes, back to the first line: THANK YOU!

With all of the worries around becoming a new parent … and even more worries surrounding parenting a toddler with a new baby in the family, an absolute blessing has been all of you at COS.

You have come up under us in so many loving and fabulous ways. From the beautiful baby shower to all of the amazing food when Olivia was born and, of course, all the well wishes and prayers.

Thank you all so, so much. I say this without hyperbole—our little family could not have had this time to grow and bond without you all.

The whole VR family is so grateful for you, and Olivia is excited to meet you all very soon!

With gratitude,

Gabe, Taylor, Harper, and Olivia
