ABCD Index is an online indexing / journal-directory platform for academic journals across many disciplines — science, engineering, humanities, social science, medicine, and more.
The platform’s goal is to help researchers, authors, publishers, and institutions locate “real” journals, by collecting and verifying details such as ISSN, publisher info, publication frequency, access type (open/paid), indexing status, etc.
ABCD Index assigns a rating (categories A, B, C, D) to journals — based on evaluation parameters like age of journal, regularity of issues, whether peer review is done, whether journal maintains proper formatting and editorial standards,…

Go to the ABCD Index website (i.e. open abcdindex.com).
Use the search bar (usually in the middle of the page) and type either
the journal name, or
the ISSN/P-ISSN (if you have it).
Press “Search.” A list of journals matching your query will appear.
Use the filters on the side (or top) of the results page to narrow down by:
Indexing → select “ABCD-Index” to show only journals approved by ABCD.
(Optional) Rating → ABCD uses a category system: A, B, C, D. Select the rating you want (e.g. “A”) and filter accordingly.
