Walk in Love 2027: WHY I PLEDGE

I call Church of Our Saviour my "home away from home" because I feel comfortable here with the care and warmth of others in fellowship. Church of Our Saviour is a place that plays a significant role in my life’s history--no matter what stage of life I am in. Church of Our Saviour is where I was baptized, where I was confirmed, where I was married, where my son was baptized, and where my son went through Rite 13.
I am glad to make a stewardship gift each year because I know the good that will come of it. I know that Church of Our Saviour is a blessed place, a place where I, along with others, find the Holy Spirit. My stewardship gift will go to support more activities which bring me fellowship throughout the year. I have made many good friends at Church of Our Saviour that I otherwise would never have even met, and that would be a shame.
Church of Our Saviour is where my gifts have been seen and appreciated by others. By joining women's bible study, teaching Vacation Bible and Sunday Schools, playing handbells, and serving on the Finance and Stewardship Committees and Vestry, I have helped others and myself. Throughout these activities, I have enjoyed fellowship that has deepened my faith. What other organization can offer such a wide variety of experiences that I have enjoyed so much? I do not know of one. I also do not know of any other organization which offers such a variety of outreach opportunities through Our Saviour Center, Jubilee Homes, Li Tim Oi Center, and a Child's Garden School. When I make my stewardship gift, I am supporting not only Church of Our Saviour, but all of those outreach ministries as well.
My stewardship gift is such a great way to show thanksgiving and appreciation for all that Church of Our Saviour means to me. What other organization offers such opportunity while deepening old friendships and making new ones along the way? I cannot think of one, so I will gladly help continue the invaluable mission at Church of Our Saviour through my pledge.
