Nightclub of the Living Dead

Friday October 23, 6:00–8:00 pm in CLEAVER Hall — $20 per person

There is a fifth dimension beyond those known to humanity. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the door between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of our fears and the summit of our knowledge. You unlock this door with the key of imagination.  It is a zone which we call the Nightclub of the Living Dead.

Bob Crocker and the Music Committee invite you all to join us for an evening of Halloween-themed horror-comedy musical madness called Nightclub of the Living Dead. All funds raised will go to the COS music program.

Eccentric half-talented mediums in gorgeous apparel will summon the dead for command performances of musical numbers tangentially related to their time on earth. You will laugh, recoil, and groan at hoary Dad-jokes in song and costume.

Our mediums will attempt to conjure dead characters such as the following using their crystal ball:

• Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis (dead)

• Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodgers (dead)

• Bud Abbott and Lou Costello (dead)

• Karen Carpenter (dead)

• The four Golden Girls (all dead)

• The biblical patriarch Noah (dead)

• Eleanor Roosevelt (dead)

• Queen Elizabeth II (dead)

• And more ...

Join us for an evening of song, bad jokes, spooky snacks, and Halloween char-cut-erie.
