OUR SAVIOUR CENTER SPOTLIGHT: Annual Easter Meal Distribution a Success at Our Saviour Center

On April 2, Our Saviour Center hosted its annual Easter meal distribution, our second largest distribution of the year. We handed out meals which included ham or chicken, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, and canned goods to 447 households — a total of 1,231 individuals.

Our team was deeply touched at the event when three women made the sign the cross and began praying after receiving their food. One of the them was so grateful she was moved to tears. This moment reminded us of the impact we have on our community. Despite the smiling faces we see each day, we understand that we never truly know what someone else may be experiencing, and we feel honored to be able to aid others in their journey.

Thank you to everyone who made this Easter meal distribution possible, from our donors to our volunteers. We were excited to have Vera Hoalim and Rev. Marilyn Omernick among those who joined us. Whether or not you were able to be there that day, please know that your kindness helped feed families as they celebrated the resurrection of Christ this Easter.
