MUSIC MINISTRY UPDATE: Celebrating Your Support of Music at COS

Dear Church of Our Saviour family,

Thank you for your support of music at Church of Our Saviour.

Members of our Church of Our Saviour community gave over $18,000 to the music program in 2025. Of this total, roughly $10,000 is direct giving to the music program from households who donate monthly or when asked. The rest is from your generous support of music events.

The most audible impact of this financial support is our improved choir sound, due to the leadership of our wonderful choir section leaders.

Eighty COS members and friends joined us on Saturday, February 7 in Cleaver Hall for a fancy high tea with all the frills, an hour of wonderful music, and a terrific silent auction. The event raised about $7100 this year, with paid ticket sales and income up over 25 percent from last year. We had the chance to celebrate our wonderful choir volunteers and youth instrumental musicians.

Children’s Church is singing weekly, sharing songs they have learned with the congregation in the 10 am Eucharist every few weeks. We hope you will be in church to hear them on Palm Sunday, March 29, at 10 am in Grace Chapel as we begin our Holy Week journey, which culminates in an exhilaration of Easter joy with brass and timpani on Sunday, April 5.
