Letter from the Rector: WELCOMING JEAN DILLINGHAM as OUR NEW PARISH ADMINISTRATOR

Dear siblings in Christ,

I write this letter to share the news that, with the consent of your vestry and wardens, I have called Jean Dillingham to replace Yuhadhi Sundaramoorthy as Church of Our Saviour’s new parish administrator.

Jean brings with her a wealth of experience in building and growing purpose-driven teams, most notably as Chief of Staff and Outreach at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Beverly Hills. In that position, Jean was responsible for overall management of the facility—overseeing all operational aspects, including finance, community outreach, volunteers, and staff management. Most recently, Jean was appointed by the Diocese to fill a role as Director of Operations at Church of the Epiphany Oak Park until their new priest was called.

When she’s not working, Jean enjoys spending time with her wife, Cherylnn, and their Bernedoodle, Hudson, as well as gardening, cooking, and playing pickleball. She has a passion for tennis, which she has pursued as a coach, an organizer, and a marketing professional.

Jean will be with us full-time beginning July 18, yet has graciously offered to spend time with Yuhadhi before his departure in order to ensure a smooth transition.

I ask your prayers for Yuhadhi, Gabriella, and the entire Sundaramoorthy family, and I invite you again to a celebration on Saturday, June 25, at 4:30 – 7:30 pm in Cleaver Hall. We will eat tacos from Chanos and listen to Yuhadhi’s favorite classic rock hits.

I also ask you to help us welcome Jean, Cherylnn, and Hudson into our community, as we continue to discover who God calls us to be, together. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Faithfully,

Jeff+
