Laós Chamber Music's Yuletide Cello Concert

Dear Friends,

One of the great joys of building a community-centric concert series like Laós Chamber Music has been discovering what our musical identity could be together as musicians and audience members. Over the years, we’ve explored a wide range of repertoire and ensemble formations, always guided by the belief that chamber music should be generous, welcoming, and deeply connected to community.

That spirit led us to program a 12-piece cello choir concert as part of our season two years ago. What began for me, quite honestly, as a personal desire — to play holiday tunes with my friends … who happen to all be cellists — quickly turned into one of Laós’ cherished memories. It’s no surprise a concert featuring the greatest instrument (completely objective, not a biased opinion) was a great hit.

So, we’re bringing it back!

We are thrilled to invite you to join us once again this Saturday, Dec. 20th, at 4 pm in the historic sanctuary for a festive cello choir concert, featuring a mix of beloved classical works and seasonal favorites, many arranged especially for this ensemble by musicians of Laós Chamber Music!
