This fall, Church of Our Saviour is offering a grief and loss support group starting October 20, for those who have experienced the death of a loved one or are in pain from any other loss that is preventing their living into the fullness of life. Grief takes us to the core of who we are, and it impacts every aspect of our being.
Gathering in a safe place and sharing from the heart, being deeply listened to by others who understand their pain, can ease a person’s sense of aloneness and loss through community.
Please join us in Grace Chapel each Sunday from Oct. 20 through Dec. 15, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

TRISH HEALY is a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. Twenty years into her nursing career she went back to school to become a licensed marriage and family therapist, intending to complement the public health nursing-social work she was doing. She served in the schools for over 30 years, including as director of health services for the Covina Valley School District. Trish worked for a nonprofit psychology practice for 25 years until the COVID pandemic caused its closure. After that she continued in private practice.
At COS, along with much-loved Gayle MacGregor, Trish taught Stephen Ministry classes to train parishioners for a ministry of abiding, to be able to walk along in companionship with people who were suffering, so no one need walk alone in distress. She is also a lay eucharistic minister.
