Companions on the Journey: INTRODUCING A NEW COMMUNITY SUPPORT GATHERING

Many of us have the opportunity to walk alongside others in times of joy and sorrow, hope and struggle.

Companions on the Journey is a 6-session gathering for those who want to deepen their faith, strengthen their caregiving skills, and nurture community and support. Together, we will explore practices that ground us in faith, skills that help us accompany others with dignity and respect, and the community that sustains us in offering care.

Each week will focus on a theme, such as grief and loss, compassionate listening, boundaries, prayer, pastoral presence, and building ongoing community support. Come for all six sessions or for as many as you can.

This program is open to all—whether you come from another faith, are exploring your spirituality, or simply wish to learn how to better support others in times of need.

By participating, you will not only grow in your own spiritual journey but also help strengthen a caring network within our wider community. Together, we will learn to embody Christ’s call to love our neighbors, walking with one another as companions on the journey.
