Frederick Pearson Garside II, 92, of Alta Loma, California, went to meet our Lord on August 16, 2022. He was born in Los Angeles, California on October 22, 1929, to Alice and Frederick Garside. He was a veteran and served in the Navy on an aircraft carrier during the Korean War.
He was a Master Mason of Arcadia Lodge for over 50 years, a member of Al Malaikah Shriners in Los Angeles for over 30 years, and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters of the Los Angeles Court. He was a lifetime member of the Church of Our Savior in San Gabriel.
He is survived by his wife Mary McConnell-Garside; his children Cheryl Townsend and Fred Garside Ill; his stepchildren Terry and Chip; his grandchildren Heidi, Ashley, Soraida, Joshua, and Joseph; his step grandchildren Juli, Jacqueline, Maddison, Henry, and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren McKenna, Jaxon, and Micah.
