"Foundations" Concert is this Saturday: FREE LAÓS CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT

Dear Laós Chamber Music Family,

You are cordially invited to join Laós Chamber Music for our upcoming concert this Saturday, February 11th, at 1 pm in the beautiful historic sanctuary at Church of Our Saviour!

When putting together a piano trio program, trips to the hardware store are usually not necessary. Yet, here I am making multiple trips to replenish my supply of compressed air cans, magnets, felt, and weather stripping for our upcoming performance of Pascal Le Boeuf's explosive Obliquely Wrecked.

Juxtaposed with Mozart's infinitely elegant Divertimento and Brahms' gloriously romantic Piano Trio in B Major, this concert showcases the power and versatility of the steadfast ensemble that is the piano trio.

Benjamin Hoffman (violin), Clement Chow (cello), and I are so excited to share this program with the Laós community for an afternoon of lightness, energy, and heart-sweeping melodies. Hope to see you there!

Warmly,

Irene Kim, pianist and Laós Artistic Board Member

Celebrating its inaugural season, Laós Chamber Music is a new concert series hosted on the historic campus of Church of Our Saviour Episcopal Church in San Gabriel. Led by Founder and Artistic Director, Dustin Seo, Laós Chamber Music aims to celebrate and showcase the community of young professional musicians based in Los Angeles, and to enrich the local San Gabriel Valley community with free and accessible classical music programming. In addition to its core season performances at Church of Our Saviour, Laós Chamber Music also collaborates with the other Church of Our Saviour ministries, including programming at Jubilee Homes sober living, and Our Saviour Center in El Monte.
